ಗಾಂಧಿ ಭವನವನ್ನು 1965 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಿನ ಭಾರತದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಗಾಂಧಿ ಭವನದ ವಸ್ತುಸಂಗ್ರಹಾಲಯವು ಮಹಾತ್ಮಾ ಗಾಂಧಿಯವರ ಅಪರೂಪದ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಬರೆದ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಗ್ಯಾಲರಿ, ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಭಾಂಗಣವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ.

The Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi was registered as an autonomous state body for furthering the objective of perpetuating the memory and message of Gandhiji to coming generation.
